This role involves working collaboratively with the EMEA Banking and Finance Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) and Business Managers (BMs) to enhance practice group and lawyer performance, aligned with the strategic vision of EMEA. You will support people issues and work closely with the EMEA Director of Talent Management and other Practice Group Talent Management Business Partners.
The position requires proactive, hands-on business partnering, liaising with PGLs, BMs, and office-based Talent Management colleagues to deliver high-quality HR support.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Act as a Business Partner to understand and support the strategic needs related to people management.
2. Coordinate engagement plans, team planning, recruitment, mobility, talent reviews, performance management, career development, and organizational development within the practice group.
3. Support integration of lateral partners and provide HR advisory support on people-related issues.
4. Partner with leadership to develop optimal people strategies and resources for EMEA.
Travel requirements: Occasional travel may be required.
About the team: The Firm's People function encompasses Talent Management, Recruitment & Mobility, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity, Partnership & Performance, and D&I Analytics.
Reporting line: Reports to the Director of Talent Management, EMEA. No direct reports.
Key relationships: Practice Group Leaders, Business Managers, Talent Director, office-based Talent Management and Recruitment teams, and other internal teams as necessary.
Candidate profile: Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Management, or related; extensive HR/Talent Management experience, preferably in professional services; experience across multiple jurisdictions; excellent communication skills in English; proven stakeholder management, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
