An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright, organised and personable Studio Assistant to join a leading, design-focused Architecture studio. This role is at the very heart of the practice. You’ll be the welcoming face of the studio, ensuring clients, visitors and team members alike experience a smooth, well-run and friendly environment every day.
Working closely with the directors and the wider architectural team, this is a hands-on, varied position that combines front-of-house duties, administrative coordination and general studio support.
Key Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for all visitors and enquiries, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
Manage calls, emails and post, directing them efficiently to the right team members.
Maintain an organised and inviting reception area and meeting rooms.
Assist with expenses, training bookings, travel arrangements and diary coordination.
Manage stationery and office supplies, keeping within agreed budgets.
Coordinate CPD sessions and lunch-and-learn events for the team.
Support the production and formatting of presentations, brochures and client documentation.
Play an active role in organising team events and socials, contributing to a positive studio culture.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience within an architecture & design practice is imperative.
Friendly, confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Professional, polished and personable in every interaction.
Experience using Adobe InDesign, WordPress, and/or Canva.
Familiarity with Blueroom or other document management systems.
A full UK driving licence (for managing pool car appointments).
Experience arranging social events for design or professional teams.
