The Vacancy
Tyne Coast College, comprising Tyne Metropolitan College, South Tyneside College and South Shields Marine School, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our team in the Business, Education, Sport and Social Sciences area.
Role
Lecturer in Beauty Therapy – Level 1 to Level 3
A Beauty Therapy Lecturer role primarily involves delivering engaging and high-quality practical and theoretical sessions to students in Beauty Therapy from Level 1 to Level 3. You will support student progress, maintain accurate records, prepare learning materials and mark units that you have been teaching/assessing on. You will contribute to course delivery and reviews. You will also provide a safe and inclusive learning environment, engage in professional development, and will be involved in course management and curriculum development.
Our staff team create a positive environment that enables students to enjoy learning. The team support the learning process, and assist and enable students to achieve their goals.

Requirements
* A subject-relevant qualification at Level 3, along with Maths and English Level 2.
* Experience of planning, reviewing, assessing and teaching learners in an FE or workplace setting.
* An existing teaching qualification would be highly advantageous, but we can provide support in achieving this to the right candidate.
