Team Overview:
The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on‑site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem‑solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Role Overview:
Due to continued growth we wish to integrate an Mechanical Assembly Manager to support our mechanical assembly production, in our assembly facility located in Mallusk. This post is a permanent position and offers amazing opportunities for any successful candidate who wishes to gain experience within a progressive and dynamic company. We are currently seeking a self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual who can manage, develop, delegate work accordingly and support the Assembly team on progress and advancements. Part of the role as Mechanical Assembly Manager will be to manage weekly production, forecast production, monitor queries, non‑conformances and implement operational procedures. The role will also require the managing of Subcontractor / materials, machine maintenance and the development of the assembly facilities in Mallusk with advice and guidance on design requirements and specification.

What You'll be Doing
The role involves liaising with project management teams through weekly meetings to monitor progress and ensure project programmes are met, while managing assembly supervisors and coordinating with production and fabrication teams to achieve clear‑to‑build status. Responsibilities include reviewing assembly drawings for accuracy, ensuring adherence to and development of company assembly procedures, and maintaining regular communication with line managers regarding labour, training, machinery, and non‑conformances. The position also supports the preparation of weekly progress reports, manages and schedules workloads within assembly facilities, and focuses on developing team skills and capacity to ensure timely project delivery in line with specifications and targets.
