About the Role
As Teacher of Music, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and timetable. You will deliver a curriculum that develops musical understanding, practical skill and creative expression.
Students will build confidence in:
* Performing (solo and ensemble), with opportunities to develop technique and stage presence
* Composing and arranging using structured guidance and creative exploration
* Listening and appraising, including musical elements, genres and context
* Music technology where appropriate, supporting recording, sequencing or digital composition
* GCSE preparation (where offered) through clear modelling, purposeful practice and feedback
You will encourage a positive, inclusive classroom culture where students feel confident to participate, take creative risks and improve through rehearsal and reflection.
