We have a new opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team within North East, at our site in Stockton-on-Tees. As our Project Manager, you will oversee and support the control and delivery of construction projects to meet client specifications (safety, quality, cost, time, etc.), ensuring all budget, risk, specification, project timescales, customer, and business objectives are met. The role involves multiple client meetings on site, so excellent stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to drive site teams to deliver high-quality homes.

o Construction-related academic qualification; BSc, HNC, or proven track record as a tradesperson with site management experience
o Experience working on new build residential multi-story projects
o Experience in managing Health and Safety
o Ability to analyze technical and commercial aspects of developments and apply solutions in terms of time, cost, quality, and resource management
o A proven operational team player capable of setting direction and delivering results in challenging conditions
o Excellent interpersonal skills
o Ability to create a positive environment fostering respect and mutual support

o Reputation for integrity, maturity, sound judgment, and team leadership
o Qualified to the CIOB Grade applicable at the time per group policy
o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Asta Power Project
o Experience managing all aspects of the build process
o Good knowledge of JCT D&B contracts
o Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and building legislation
o Understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements to achieve high scores

o Responsible for safety and welfare of the public, staff, and supply chain under Vistry safety policies
o Drive safety improvements
o Ensure successful, safe project completion: quality, timing, procurement, client interface, leading by example from start to finish
o Manage internal/external design teams to meet deadlines and design requirements
o Work with QS and buying teams for efficient procurement and scheduling
o Develop and motivate team members, providing feedback and learning opportunities
o Ensure team engagement and motivation to deliver excellence
o Assist in recruiting suitable personnel for project needs
o Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
o Manage project correspondence
o Develop detailed plans aligned with overall project schedule for materials and resources
o Chair site, progress, safety meetings, and project reviews, producing reports and programs
o Identify, cost, and agree on additional work with clients
o Understand and incorporate commercial drivers and implications into decision making
o Regularly review project programs to ensure timely completion
o Ensure adherence to Vistry processes on site
o Induct team members and ensure role-specific requirements are met
o Promote sustainability practices and continuous improvement within the team
