Role: Toxicologist (Environmental Analytical Chemistry)
Contract Role
Location: Remote, UK Coverage
We are seeking an Independent Analytical Chemistry Technical Assessor in Toxicology. Our external Technical Assessors are vital in the UKAS assessment process, providing expertise to evaluate laboratories across the UK.
Ongoing right to work in the UK is required.
Ideal candidates will have experience in toxicology or workplace drug testing, with the following qualifications:
* Experience working in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory.
* Deep understanding of quality control across various analytical techniques.
* Knowledge of data performance checks and data integrity requirements.
* Experience handling matrices involved in toxicology testing.
* Experience with both screening and instrumental techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with laboratory staff, management, and customers.
Key Skills:
* Practical experience in a laboratory setting.
* Up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard methods and sector schemes.
* Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 standard testing and calibration labs.
* Auditing experience is a plus.
* Strong communication skills with various stakeholders.
* Training in report writing and UKAS systems will be provided.
