Lecturer in Health Care (Part‑Time)
Hours: 11.1 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Salary: Between £32,916 and £42,280 per annum for a full‑time equivalent (plus market pay supplement if applicable).
Our Health team is part of a dynamic department delivering Health, Care, Science, and Sport programmes. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Part‑Time Health Care Lecturer to work two days per week.
Responsibilities
You will primarily teach our T Level Health programme and the new HTQ Level 4/5 Healthcare Professions Support courses. Your role will include the following:
* Deliver practical clinical skills training to 16–18 year‑old learners and adult students.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support learner success.
* Contribute to the development of high‑quality learning experiences and innovative curricula.
* Stay up to date with industry knowledge and apply curriculum design best practices.
Qualifications
* A degree in Nursing, Health, or a related health care profession, with current practical clinical experience.
* A Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* A strong commitment to high standards in teaching and learning.
* Experience in curriculum design is highly advantageous.
