About this roleResponsible for planning and booking all staff travel and accommodation for Legends Tour events throughout the season. The role also includes administrative support for the Tournament Operations team to plan and manage Legends Tour events.Operations Department Our team manages the running of all Legends Tour tournaments throughout the season, as well as supporting the operations of the business as a whole where needed. We are a small team, so each and every one of us has an important role to play. It's vital you are willing to help and support others in the team where needed, can work flexibly to meet operational requirements and enjoy working in a busy, often demanding role, juggling priorities and navigating the challenges of this type of role.Key responsibilities:Managing flights, accommodation, transfers and car hire for 15-20 staff at each of our tournaments and ensuring this is done in the most cost-effective way possibleInvestigating and understanding any Visa requirements for staff and players travelling to our eventsManaging Visa applications for staff if neededSupporting the Tournament operations team where requiredManaging purchase orders and invoicing management for events you are working on.Experience:Experience negotiating hotel rates and cancellation policesWorking with travel partners and managing multiple flight bookings at any one time to find the most cost-effective routesManaging flights with multiple destinationsExperience arranging Carnet shipments for equipment.Skills, Qualifications and Personal Attributes:A team player who excels working as part of a small team with a positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitudeStrong communication & interpersonal skills, both internally and externallySelf-driven and open to learning new processes, systems and skillsExcellent organisation skills, with a strong attention to detail and adherence to meeting standardsCost conscious mindsetSelf-driven and able to use own initiative.Desirable:A passion for golf and experience working in the golf industry preferredExperience raising and managing Carnet applications for temporarily importing and exporting equipment.About the Legends Tour: The Legends Tour is a global golf tour for over 50s professional golfers and part of the European Tour Group but is structured independently with its own experienced team.
