Overview

We’re looking for a New Starter Trainer who can provide an effective and engaging training journey for our Arrears colleagues. You’ll be responsible for the facilitation of our Arrears new start journey, developing our new starters’ capability to ensure they focus on getting it right first time and always support our customers compliantly with their financial difficulty. We provide remote working options and are open to applications from across the UK. However, there will be an expectation to attend the Cardiff office when required.
Responsibilities
* Lead the facilitation of our Arrears New Start Journeys, ensuring new colleagues develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to progress successfully
* Lead, motivate and develop new starters to achieve their best and become a permanent member of the team
* Provide direction, coaching and mentoring to match competency standards to progress to operational teams
* Track, monitor and ensure all new starters complete all elements of the new start journey and competency assessments
* Support the planning, delivery and measurement of New Start learning activity across the business
* Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of the New Start Journeys and make recommendations for continuous improvement
* Proactively identify potential performance risks and support the implementation of performance management when necessary
You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues within the People Team, offering a collaborative environment for learning and growth. This role provides an opportunity to specialise in training our new Arrears colleagues with meaningful development and a strong foundation of versatile skills.
Requirements

* Committed to improving knowledge and skills with a passion for continuing learning and development
You’ll have
* Commercial awareness and understanding of legal, FCA regulatory and ethical requirements
* 12 months experience in training delivery (ideally with new starters)
* Financial Services experience, including knowledge of residential (secured) and consumer products
* Specialist knowledge of Arrears processes and regulatory requirements
* Or 12 months Financial Servicing experience in an Arrears environment or another regulated industry (e.g., telecoms/utilities)
