My Client in the Dorset area is looking for someone to support up to 4 young people aged 1017 years, providing care that is safe, nurturing, and aspirational. They are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to provide strong leadership, drive quality, and shape outcomes for children who need stability and support. Key Responsibilities Lead with compassion, ability to inspire, and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care. Ensure the childrens home consistently meets and exceeds Ofsted requirements. Meet the requirements of the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Regulation 28 (fitness of manager). Develop and oversee the implementation of personalised, outcome-focused care plans alongside multi-agency teams. Create and foster safe, positive, nurturing and supportive environment for young people and staff. Manage budgets and resources effectively. Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies. About You Minimum 2 years management experience in a childrens residential setting. Hold at least a Level 5 in Leadership and Management or be working towards completion within an agreed timeframe. Up-to-date knowledge of the Ofsted inspection framework, the Children Act 1989, and Working Together to Safeguard Children. successfully complete Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Recognised social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, Social Work Degree). Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs.
