The opportunity
AJW Group is expanding its Procurement Team in Sofia, and we’re looking for a Supplier Manager to join us.
In this role, you'll manage a group of suppliers and their spend, working closely with the Head of Supplier Management. You’ll be responsible for supplier performance, contract management, and achieving savings targets.
The role includes:
* Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring contract compliance
* Managing volume rebates and resolving supplier issues
* Leading supplier visits and performance reviews
* Improving cost, risk, delivery, and contract quality
* Overseeing assigned suppliers and spend categories
* Supporting annual cost-saving targets
* Developing market knowledge in key supplier areas
* Working with sourcing teams on new and renewed contracts
* Tracking and reporting KPIs
* Managing penalties and remedies where required
* Applying strong negotiation and risk management techniques
* Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
* Conducting cost and performance analysis
* Supporting ad hoc tasks as needed by leadership
About you
* Experience in strategic procurement in a complex environment
* Strong contract and supplier management skills
* Commercial mindset with data analysis ability
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing change
* Aviation or repair industry knowledge is a plus
* Contract law or supplier coaching experience is a bonus
