Due to continued success, our reputable Real Estate Lawyer is seeking the addition of a Residential Conveyancing fee-earner to join their team in Manchester or London.
The Role
We are looking for a Conveyancer to join our Real Estate Lawyer in Manchester or London.
(For more experienced candidates, remote applications may be considered)
Prior experience in either real estate or residential conveyancing is
essential.
The day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

General administration and support
•
Drafting legal documents and correspondence
•
Making effective use of information and case management/filing systems
(whether electronic or hard copy), including storing and retrieving information
•
Managing file opening and the financial management of matters
•
Taking detailed instructions from clients and providing regular updates on progress
•
Interacting with clients directly, under supervision
•
Managing case timelines and key deadlines
•
Plot sale transactions acting for developers
•
Transfer of ownership
•
Filing SDLT Returns
•
Carrying out Land Registry searches and liaising with it
•
Completion & post completion process; to include Companies House and Land Registry applications
•
Monitor emails and responding where necessary and applicable
•
Preparing Lease Reports and other document summaries
•
Scheduling Title Deeds and Documents
The position is to be based in our Manchester or London office, on a hybrid working model.
This role is suitable for either Full-time or Part-time candidates, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Personal Specification
To be successful in the role, you will be based in Manchester or London and have prior experience within property law to join the team.
You will have strong experience using Microsoft office, Adobe, DocuSign and more. You will be pro-active, efficient, organised, keen to take the initiative and to drive transactions forward.
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate:
* Newly Qualified / 1PQE
* Be a qualified Solicitor, Residential Conveyancer or CiLEX qualified individual
* Prior experience in Real Estate or Residential Conveyancing is essential
* Excellent communicator, both written and oral
* Commercial awareness
* Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to build strong rapport and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
* Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms).
* Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks.
* Ability to take initiate with tasks.
