Permanent, 30hrs Per Week, Term-Time Only plus 15 days (42 Weeks). Scale SO1, Point 23 - 24: £34,434 - £36,363 (Actual Salary: £25,922.15 - £27,374.32). Starting Date - As Soon As Possible.
The opportunity has arisen for a Student and Family Support Worker at Highfields School. Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1300 students, including 200 in our sixth form. Our students are friendly and highly motivated. Highfields is part of East Midlands Education Trust (EMET), a partnership of schools whose mission is to raise educational standards and improve life chances for all children within our Trust.
Responsibilities
Student and family support workers work with our students and their families to assist with non-educational matters.

Location and context
Highfields is situated in Matlock, the county town of Derbyshire, on the south eastern edge of the Peak District National Park. It is within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.
