The Swan at Nibley, a family run, independent country pub with a flair for exceptional food and warm hospitality, is on the hunt for a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen brigade.
About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll be second-in-command in our busy kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of service. You'll help inspire our kitchen team, ensure food quality and consistency, and bring seasonal creativity to our menus.
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations and mentor junior staff
Help develop new dishes using fresh, local ingredients
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
Contribute to cost control, ordering, and prep planning
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a gastro pub or quality restaurant
Passion for pub dining with a modern twist
