Assistant Paralegal / Paralegal
We are recruiting for an Assistant Paralegal / Paralegal to join our Document Review and Collation team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for you to support both contentious and non-contentious fee earners from across the firm with the review and collation of documents including pre‑action disclosure, data access requests and the creation of court bundles.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake a first level review of Data Subject Access Requests, including redactions, with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
* Use e‑disclosure platforms such as Relativity to conduct reviews and e‑disclosure exercises.
* Work both independently and as part of a team to manage workload and meet deadlines.
* Report to management regularly on the progression of ongoing work.
* Manage financial outputs carefully, ensuring time, cost, and quality changes are considered and managed.
* Be a hybrid employee, attending the office 50% of the time.
* Maintain accuracy, organisational skills, flexibility, and multitask to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
* Paralegal experience in a document review role is advantageous.
* Proven technical ability to identify privilege.
* Proven technical ability to work on a data subject access request.
* Experience with Document Review Platforms such as Relativity.
* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
* Excellent communication and self‑management skills.
