This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs in a rewarding full-time role. Role Summary: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students who have special educational needs, supporting them individually or in small groups. Your input will help learners build confidence, develop independence, and acquire vital life skills. Key Responsibilities: • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging, adapted support for a variety of learning styles • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports individual needs • Commit to a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2025 About the School: • A specialist setting supporting students from early years to post-16 with moderate to complex learning difficulties • Emphasises personalised, student-centred learning in a well-resourced environment • A dedicated and experienced staff team focused on holistic development and long-term success What We’re Looking For: • Confident communication and behaviour management skills • Experience working with children or young people with SEND • A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning • Ability to provide suitable references and obtain an enhanced DBS check If you're enthusiastic about supporting young people to achieve their potential in a nurturing environment, we’d love to hear from you. *All staff undergo thorough interviews and referencing checks and must hold, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
