Job Summary
We are excited to invite applications for a Senior Nurse with a background in palliative care to join our dedicated and compassionate team at The Woodlands Inpatient Unit. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.
In this role you will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, ensuring exceptional care and a supportive environment for patients in their final stages of life. You should be passionate about improving patient experiences, possess excellent communication skills, and actively contribute to the development of colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, promoting high standards of patient care.
* Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach in all aspects of the clinical environment.
* Effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent care delivery.
* Demonstrate passion for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety and well‑being at all times.
* Take responsibility for holding the IMPaCT out‑of‑hours phone during weekdays and weekends, ensuring continuity of care and support during non‑core hours.
* Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and clinical guidelines.
Key Requirements
* 1st Level Registered Nurse.
* Minimum 2 years experience working as a Band 5 or Band 6 registered nurse with palliative experience.
* A dedication to ongoing professional development and improving team collaboration.
