The Role - Occupational Therapist, Hounslow Location : Hounslow, West London Setting : Mainstream Primary School with SEN support provision Hours : Full-time (Term time only) Start Date : Immediate or September 2025 Contract : Long-term contract with potential for permanent role As the Occupational Therapist in this Hounslow-based school, you will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external agencies to support students with a wide variety of needs. You'll assess, plan, and deliver bespoke OT programmes to help pupils reach their developmental and educational goals. ✅ What We're Looking For in an Occupational Therapist: HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist (essential) Degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy from an HCPC-approved and RCOT-recognised course Experience or keen interest in working with children with Autism, sensory processing difficulties, and developmental delays Confident in delivering interventions such as fine/gross motor programmes, sensory circuits, handwriting support, and classroom strategies Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teaching staff and parents A background in paediatrics, mental health, or SEN environments is highly desirable Desirable Training: Sensory Integration training Moving and Handling certification Knowledge of Zones of Regulation, TEACCH, or other developmental frameworks Safeguarding Level 2 or above Why Join This Primary School in Hounslow?
