Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum.
Inspire students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills.
Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations and support their academic progress.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain high teaching standards.
The successful candidate will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate learners
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for English and education
