About the Function
Our Scotland Brand Homes are world-class visitor experiences that combine retail, hospitality and storytelling to bring our whisky brands to life. Retail plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving commercial performance and supporting our direct-to-consumer business.
About the team
You’ll join a collaborative retail team supporting multiple Brand Home locations, working closely with operations, supply chain and compliance partners to ensure seamless, high-quality retail experiences for visitors.
About the role
As Retail Operations Manager, you will ensure the smooth, compliant and efficient running of retail operations across our Brand Homes. You’ll lead on operational standards, inventory and compliance, enabling teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Role Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain retail processes, standards and operating procedures
2. Ensure compliance across payments, stock control, promotions and retail systems
3. Oversee inventory accuracy, stock takes and warehouse operations
4. Manage shipping and fulfilment processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
5. Lead training and capability building across retail teams
6. Use data and insights to identify risks, improve processes and drive performance

Experience / skills required

7. Experience in retail operations or store management, ideally in a complex or regulated environment
8. Strong understanding of stock control, inventory and operational processes
9. Experience driving compliance and implementing operational standards
10. Ability to train, coach and support teams to deliver consistent performance
11. Strong organisational and analytical skills, with attention to detail
