Education with Character & Enrichment Coordinator
Sheffield Springs Academy, an 11-16 secondary school serving the Park, Manor and Castle wards of Sheffield, is looking to appoint a full-time Education with Character & Enrichment Coordinator to complement the existing department. The Academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools and academies.
The Education with Character & Enrichment Coordinator will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of a high-quality programme of enrichment, personal development and character education across the school.
The postholder will ensure that all students, regardless of background, have equitable access to trips, visits, sporting opportunities and extracurricular provision, and are actively supported to represent their school with Respect, Excellence, Ambition and Pride.
The role is central to raising aspiration, broadening horizons and ensuring that students develop the confidence, character and ambition to succeed both in school and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of a high-quality enrichment, personal development and character education programme across the school.
* Ensure equitable access for all students to trips, visits, sporting opportunities and extracurricular activities.
* Support students in representing the school with values of Respect, Excellence, Ambition and Pride.
* Raise aspiration and broaden horizons, helping students develop confidence, character and ambition to succeed in and beyond school.
* Collaborate with staff to integrate enrichment activities into the curriculum and school culture.
