Job Summary
Working within the Materials, Processes and Testing (MP&T) team, you will play a key role in materials development and qualification. You will work with a mutli-disciplined team of engineers to test and validate materials supporting our clients world leading safety solutions. Driven, organised and multi-disciplined engineers will thrive in this role and enjoy the day-to-day variety it offers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interpret and manage technical requirements to create and execute material qualification programme plans.
2. Advising on material selection by evaluating material properties and recommending suitable materials for specific applications.
3. Act as a point of contact for material and process queries, and improvement activities.
4. Assist with R&D activities on new materials and processes to achieve the strategic growth of the business.
5. Lead and accelerate multiple materials qualification activities, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and manage risk whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
