The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

Exceptional patient-centred care is at the heart of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you’ll help patients feel good by providing clear advice and a wide range of dispensing services. You will work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference.
Daily responsibilities
Providing health advice through focused conversations, ensuring patients leave informed and confident. Your duties include:
* Tailoring conversations to ensure patients understand their healthcare needs.
* Handling technical dispensary tasks like ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
* Complying with legal and professional standards.
* Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services.
* Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing losses.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification is required, or the willingness to complete training within 6 months. Opportunities for further development include NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially progressing to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role.
