1. Job Summary π
To provide efficient secretarial support to the Clinic and Consultant(s) on a daily basis. Your support is relied upon by consultants, clinicians and patients and crucial to maintain an efficient and effective clinical facility. You will often be the first point of contact for users of the clinic and will proactively deal with enquiries from patients and colleagues in a professional manner. You will be comfortable with enquiry handling and will work in liaison with the Private Enquiry Manager to ensure there is a responsive and clear process for all new patients. π₯π
2. Key Accountabilities β
* Typing of clinical related documents from Consultants' dictations, including medical reports π§Ύ
* Formatting, proofreading and sending all clinical letters through a secure platform βοΈπ
* Scanning of relevant documentation onto our systems π π»
* Taking telephone calls, answering patient queries and taking messages ππ£οΈ
* Flexibility to cover reception when needed πββοΈποΈ
* Booking / amending patient clinic appointments π

* General housekeeping and filing π§Ήπ
* Liaising with patients to book appointments, answer patient queries and take messages for consultants π₯π
* General office support during annual leave periods ποΈπ
* Regularly assessing working practices to identify possible improvements and improve efficiency π‘π
