We are looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis with the opportunity for long-term roles for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be working closely with students with SEMH needs, supporting behaviour management, delivering tailored interventions, and promoting engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
• At least 6 months experience working within a UK education setting
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible attitude
