Role Overview
An exciting opportunity within the Private Patients Division of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role supports the growing private practice service by coordinating and managing key administrative functions for private patients. The coordinator will serve as a clear liaison for consultants, patients, carers, team members and referrers, ensuring a high quality, professional administration service.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage key administrative functions for private patients.
* Provide a liaison/contact point for consultants, patients, carers, team members and referrers.
* Ensure private patients receive a high quality, professional administration service and excellent customer service.
* Work across a number of departments and with a variety of health professionals to maintain the Private Patient Service of the highest standard.
* Implement arrangements that identify and receive private patients into a friendly, caring and comfortable environment that meets the expectations of the paying patient.
* Initiate and maintain warm, friendly and supportive relationships with private patients throughout their admission.
* Continuously monitor and ensure arrangements in place are adequate and effective for the patient's comfort throughout their inpatient stay.
Qualifications
* Proven administrative and customer service experience.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, administrative and organisational/prioritisation skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Ability to liaise with employees at all levels.
* Skills to handle all contacts confidently with compassion, patience and professionalism.
