Airfield Performance Lead
Permanent contract
Salary from £38,000 + Shift allowance £7,889.07 + £1,100 flex allowance + Up to 15% bonus + Benefits. This role also includes an Ops 44 allowance which will be equivalent to 10% of your base salary.

What is the role?
The Aerodrome Performance Lead is responsible for conducting all Airlines, Ground Handlers, ANSP and a direct team of Flow Planners to deliver Operational Performance of the Aerodrome, through effective and proactive actions, minimising disruption and delivering all elements of on shift OTP, interventions and Improvements.
What will you do?
1. Executing the operating plan, ensuring the airfield operates according to the necessary procedures, to maximise flow.
2. People leadership and development to ensure bench strength, maximising people's potential
3. Oversight and influence of aircraft flow from airspace entry through to stand and reverse, to maximise Runway throughput and asset availability.
4. Stakeholder management of 3rd party operators on the airfield to prevent unforeseen risk, and deliver a safe airfield operation in line with a just safety culture
5. Leading Gatwick's disruption cell, delivering continuous improvement and engagement to enable a swift return post incident
6. Taking the lead with necessary stakeholders during periods of adverse weather, equipment serviceability, incidents and emergencies and any other major disruption
Do you have what we're looking for?
7. Knowledge and understanding of airfield and aircraft ground and flight operations, and in particular licensing and safeguarding activities
8. Experience in delivering improvements across a team
9. Sound commercial understanding
10. Exposure to Crisis management events.
11. Experience in a planning and co-ordination role.
