About The Role
Please note that this is a part-time role working from 9am - 4pm at 22 hours per week, full flexibility is required.
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our Residents are people with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have the opportunity to give something back to those people.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, help organise fundraising events, and encourage socialisation and engagement based on Residents’ hobbies. You will do so with kindness and consideration.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training is required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns if necessary.
