Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel are proud to be supporting a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Bolton in their search for a permanent Headteacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate school leader to make a lasting impact in a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
The successful candidate will provide strong operational and strategic leadership, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all pupils and maintaining the school’s culture of care, inclusion, and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop staff to deliver outstanding teaching and learning for pupils with SEMH and SEN needs.
* Oversee day-to-day management of the school, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
* Drive continuous school improvement and ensure high standards of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
* Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team, governors, and external partners to meet school priorities.
* Manage budgets, resources, and staffing efficiently in line with school development goals.
* Uphold safeguarding and welfare responsibilities in accordance with statutory requirements.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of leadership experience within an SEMH or SEN school or provision.
* Strong understanding of specialist education and inclusive practice.
* Proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
