Role Overview
About the TPgM team and internship role
The Technical Program Manager (TPgM) intern contributes to fast-paced, cross-functional projects, helping to define scope, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders. They collaborate with Engineering, Product, Customer Support Engineer, Security, Special Projects, ETI, and Design teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time. This role provides exposure to the entire product lifecycle and technical operations at Cloudflare. We seek a highly organized, proactive, and effective communicator who is eager to learn how to manage complex technical programs. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset and a genuine passion for technology and process improvement, and is adept at communicating, eager to learn, and proficient in automation tooling, including using AI.
Role Responsibilities
* Work with a mentor TPgM who will guide them throughout the internship and advise their projects.
* Engage in a wide range of projects and collaborate with multiple teams to drive process improvements, deliver small projects/tasks, and create efficiencies.
* Learn to communicate effectively, manage stakeholder expectations, and shadow projects with a broad pool of experienced TPgMs from diverse backgrounds.
* Learn how products and initiatives are delivered effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Become proficient in tools and methodologies to start a career as a TPgM.

Role Requirements
Must-Have Skills
* Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters program in MIS, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business with deep technical curiosity, or relevant experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to learn, iterate, and take feedback well
* Ability to read the room
* Curiosity about our technical stack and ability to work with multiple functions (development, design, product, operations, etc.)
* Ability to commit to a minimum 12-week summer internship
* In-office 3–5 days a week
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Ability to translate knowledge/data into presentations, summaries, status reports, and narratives
