The Role Scope As a Helpdesk Analyst at MandM you will be providing 1st line IT support service to all users within the business, working with the latest technologies as well as established legacy systems. This is a real opportunity for either an established Helpdesk Analyst or a keen, enthusiastic individual looking for their first opportunity in an IT environment. ✨ Role key responsibilities Liaising with internal users to resolve IT related problems and queries, escalating to 2nd or 3rd line support as appropriate Providing excellent customer service to internal colleagues with the aim of efficient problem resolution Working with a ticket system, ensuring that all details for requests or issues are logged accurately Building devices (laptop, desktop, tablet) for new starters / replacement hardware, using defined build processes and systems provided Maintaining and upgrading Operating Systems and software applications About You About You Essential: A basic understanding of the technology components (application and infrastructure) utilised in an e-commerce environment Excellent communication skills Strong customer service skills Flexible and enthusiastic A problem solver, able to troubleshoot and adaptable to work alone as well as within a team Desirable: Previous experience in a 1st line IT support services roles Use of a ticket logging system Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Windows applications as well as PC hardware support, building devices and software maintenance and upgrades Qualification in a related field Experience of application and database support Knowledge of network technologies (LAN, WAN, SAN) and related services About Us At MandM, our employees are driven by a shared commitment to excellence and making a real impact in the industry.
