Join to apply for the Space Performance Analyst role at Morrisons.
You will work cross-functionally to analyse and optimise space allocation across all retail stores, ensuring the company's space rules are defined and reviewed to grow sales and profit, while also protecting customer availability. You will provide timely and accurate space performance insights that underpin macro space decisions across various project types, including new stores, refits, and category space resets as part of the Rapid Reviews. Additionally, you will contribute to developing space tools, improving data and reporting capabilities, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency.
Some of your responsibilities include:
* Providing actionable macro space recommendations related to category space resets, seasonal activities, property space programs, and ensuring approach consistency and adherence to timelines.
* Targeting and quantifying improvements to sales and margin impacts resulting from macro space change proposals.
* Seeking opportunities to simplify and accelerate business processes, with a focus on improving availability and maintaining a customer-first mindset.
* Owning the provision of macro space recommendations for category space resets following the Rapid Review plan.
* Providing space recommendations for business projects impacting macro space in stores.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
* Previous analytical experience within a retail environment.
* Experience in data modeling and reporting.
* A clear understanding of retail operations.
* Knowledge of space and layout planning (desirable).
* Ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships.
* A good listener, critical thinker, and problem solver with a supportive network of colleagues.
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
* Strong SQL skills.
* Knowledge of Python (desirable).
* Knowledge of Google Looker (desirable).
