*Location:* Dyce, Aberdeen (Free on-site parking)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking *Data Processing Technician* to join our team and provide essential administrative support to our laboratory staff.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring samples and data are processed accurately and efficiently, helping the laboratory run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving and accurately logging samples received by the laboratory
* Generating laboratory contract numbers, worksheets and reports
* Entering data, checking and analysing reports to ensure accuracy
* Working with specialist laboratory software to manage, track and report on sample data
* Completing and uploading GEODASY data
* Closing out contracts and arranging the disposal of soil samples
About You
You will:
* Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
* Be able to manage your time effectively and handle multiple tasks
* Enjoy working as part of a team, but also be confident working on your own initiative
* Be comfortable using IT systems; experience with specialist laboratory software or databases is an advantage (full training provided)
* Be proactive, reliable and able to demonstrate a flexible approach to supporting the wider team
* Have xsngvjr a pleasant, friendly manner and a positive attitude
No previous experience in a similar role is required – *full internal training will be provided*.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £13.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
