Position: Dispatcher Location: Stoke-on-Trent Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time Shift Time: 1800-24:00 Salary: Dependent on Experience About the Role: We are seeking an organised and proactive Dispatcher to join our team Stoke-on-Trent. This role is crucial in coordinating patient transport, managing driver schedules, and ensuring timely communication between staff and services. You will play a key part in supporting patient care by keeping operations efficient and responsive. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for patient transport and medical deliveries. Monitor schedules and adjust assignments to meet urgent needs. Act as the central communication point between drivers, clinical staff, and management. Maintain accurate records of journeys, timings, and service requests. Ensure compliance with NHS and UTC operational policies. Handle urgent calls and prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. Requirements: Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or healthcare coordination preferred. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. IT literacy (basic knowledge of scheduling software or databases). Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
