Chief Technical Officer, M40 corridor, UK Permanent Our client, a European high-end manufacturer of Exterior components for the British and Italian supercar industries, is looking for an experienced Chief Technical / Technology Officer to join their expanding company. The role will cover, but not be limited to, overseeing the establishment of a new manufacturing and R&D facility and the ongoing supply of components to supercar manufacturers and Tier 2 suppliers in the UK and across Europe. The new R&D site, happening in 2026, will be located along the M40 corridor, between Birmingham and London, and will duplicate their existing design, engineering, R&D and manufacturing facility based within mainland Southern Europe. It is expected that applicants will have: Substantial experience in the field of niche vehicle exterior components and modular assemblies, especially in vehicle vision systems (mirrors, cameras, internal components, lightweight materials etc), Be able to operate regularly at C-Suite executive level onsite at automotive OEMs and T2 supplier facilities. Have a proven track record of global success in this, or a very similar, field. Experience to take full ownership of their technology strategy and execution in driving the company forward. Experience of dealing with both existing and new customers and, when appropriate, supporting colleagues within those customers Flexibility to travel as required to support both the UK and European facilities as required.
