Job Title: Shift Engineer (Multi-Skilled – Electrical Bias) Purpose of the Job • To deliver multi-skilled maintenance within a 24/7 critical shift environment, supporting site uptime and compliance. • To work as part of a team of 8 engineers, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks. • To maintain electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems safely and efficiently while developing technical capability through extensive training. Key Responsibilities • Work a Panama shift pattern, covering days and nights. • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. • Respond effectively to faults, alarms, and site issues in a live environment. • Work across disciplines as a fully multi-skilled engineer. • Complete a technical assessment as part of the recruitment process (practical/knowledge-based – not multiple choice). • Accurately complete shift logs, handover reports, permits, and maintenance documentation. • Support continuous improvement and training initiatives. • Work collaboratively within a team of 8 engineers. Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills • Electrical bias preferred, though mechanical engineers and plumbers will be considered. • Level 2 qualified candidates will be considered. • Ideal candidate: Level 3 qualified, 18th Edition, with HV experience (top end of salary). • Strong fault-finding skills across multiple disciplines. • Ability to work in a shift environment and pass a hands-on technical test. • Proactive attitude toward learning and development. • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
