Profile
Our client is a well‑established, multi‑discipline environmental consultancy, holding a national presence, that works hard to provide their clients with high quality services. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and qualified Asbestos Bid Manager based in and around the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the asbestos industry, overseeing a team of bid writers, and producing PQQs and tender returns.
Applications will be considered from: Edinburgh, Livingstone, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Sterling, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and Lanark.
Experience & Qualifications
* Will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry working in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.
* Hands‑on experience within the asbestos industry would be beneficial to the role.
* Must be well versed within relevant Health and Safety legislation.
* Must have excellent organisational skills.
* Holding the P402, P403, P404 qualifications would be beneficial to the role.
* Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
The Role
* Ensuring that the bid process is running efficiently and effectively.
* Ensuring that the bid team acre carrying out work effectively.
* Managing bid input from stakeholders, sales, marketing, finance, technical teams and legal.
* Undertaking completion of written proposals.
* Arranging post‑bid reviews and feedback with clients.
* Managing various sites simultaneously and ensuring that all work is up to date.
