Role
Winnersh Care Home – Abbeyfield Winnersh, a dementia‑friendly residential care home in the village of Winnersh, Wokingham.
Location: Winnersh Care Home, Woodward Cl, Winnersh, Wokingham RG41 5NW
Hours: 36 hours available a week and alternative weekends.
Shift Pattern: 8pm – 8am, three night shifts.
Pay: £12.96 p/h – £13.31 p/h.
Responsibilities
* At the front line of care delivery, support residents with personal care, medical care and following social interests.
* Build a special bond with each resident, providing professional and emotional support during difficult times such as illness.
* Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
* Respect residents’ choices, dignity and independence to help them feel at home.
* Contribute to the development of residents’ Care Plans, keeping aware of any specialist support needs.
