Job Description:
THE ROLE:
To provide effective support to the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to Company and legislative procedures and fostering strong working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external).
You will develop your skills towards managing parts of projects with limited complexity, focusing on safety, quality, and timely delivery. Your tasks will involve core Freyssinet services.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and deliver project tasks according to schedule.
* Review plans and drawings under the guidance of the Project Manager.
* Complete routine engineering tasks, including take-offs, to enable ordering of materials and equipment per project specifications.
* Draft and revise Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Work Pack Plans (WPPs), Task Briefs, and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
* Assist in setting out work and planning daily activities with site teams and client representatives.
* Maintain detailed site records, including site diaries, photo logs, and quality documents.
* Analyze and track changes to update the contract programme weekly.
* Identify issues or changes to the scope of work and escalate as needed.
* Assist in preparing project QSE documents and project reports.
* Conduct weekly safety inspections and promote safety culture.
* Coordinate site inductions and safety medicals with clients.
Qualifications:
* A degree in civil engineering or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline (required).
* Experience in onsite operations, ideally within structural repairs and strengthening (desirable).
You will be based in our Glasgow office and should be flexible to work on various civil engineering projects in the surrounding area.
