1. Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
2. Location: Poole
3. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
4. Start date: As soon as possible
Our school is committed to creating a caring, inclusive environment where every student can succeed. We support children aged 4 to 19 with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our dedicated staff work closely with each student to help them reach their full potential and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities:
9. Assist teachers in delivering engaging, tailored learning activities
10. Support students on a 1-1 basis and within small groups
11. Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
12. Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
13. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the team
What We’re Looking For:
14. A compassionate, patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
15. Relevant experience or qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are desirable
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
17. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
18. A positive attitude and a desire to make a difference
