We're looking to appoint an ambitious and motivated Recruitment Advisor to support the University in attracting and appointing talented colleagues across all areas of the organisation.
The Recruitment Advisor lead on end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of academic and professional service areas, offering advice and guidance to managers to ensure our recruitment practices are innovative, effective, and that the University is able to attract and appoint high-quality candidates. Our Recruitment Advisor champion equality, diversity and inclusivity, and ensure these values are embedded in all recruitment and selection activity.
As well as a caseload of vacancies, each Recruitment Advisor has a project portfolio to support development of the recruitment service and practices at the University. The successful candidates can be expected to contribute to developing the University's approach to candidate attraction and social media, ensuring a consistently excellent candidate experience, including a smooth journey through onboarding and compliance with areas such as DBS and UKVI.
To be successful in this role, candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working in a recruitment consultant or in-house recruiter role, and demonstrate a clear understanding of how effective recruitment practice impacts on the wider organisation. You will need excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders confidently, succinctly and persuasively, whilst demonstrating tact and sensitivity where necessary.
