What you'll be doing:
1. Working in supplier security assurance you will be engaged in the business supplier lifecycle, undertaking business risk analysis, audit and assurance activities within the Supply Chain and compliance enforcement
2. Liaising with customers and partners across the business and traveling to various supplier sites within the UK, occasional Non UK
3. Facilitating Specialist Working Groups drawing subject matter expertise from the business and customer to develop and improve information security policies and practices to deploy into the supply chain
4. Consulting with major programmes and IT projects to ensure they comply with information security policies
5. Monitoring of information security controls in the supply chain against government policy and contractual obligations to ensure their effective operation
6. Investigating contraventions of information security policies, providing recommendations on resolution and future preventative and improvement actions
7. Developing and maintaining appropriate Information Security & Security Processes
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
8. Valid UK Driving License
9. Communication skills, with the ability to adapt these skills to different circumstances and across of levels of the enterprise
10. Analytical skills and the ability to take a systematic approach to analyse and investigate security issues and to develop solutions or improvements
11. Strong working knowledge of MS Office programmes
12. Experience/ knowledge of auditing and assessments
13. Understanding of information and cyber security principles
14. Experience of producing reports/ formal documents
Desirable:
15. Experience of the implementation or operation of security policies
16. Cyber security Experience
17. Degree level or equivalent worked experience in related field
18. ISO27001 Lead Auditor
19. Experience of working with commercial or legal documents
20. Experience of producing reports/ formal documents

The Security Supplier Assurance Team:
You will foster a work style that sets the standard expected at BAE Systems, continually driving consistency within your approach to each task. Working alongside other Product Group Managers who are responsible for the IT service, delivery and architecture.
You will be working in partnership with the business areas to ensure effective relationships between the boat programmes and IM&T are maintained, Strategic Investments are planned, and Critical Service issues are addressed as priority.
