Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and upholding our standards of hygiene and presentation.
Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained.
* Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
* Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
* Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials in designated areas.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
* Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operation of the housekeeping department.
* Due to the nature of the role this position is open to over 18s only.
Experience
* Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Experience in a hotel environment or commercial cleaning is advantageous.
* A background in customer service is beneficial to ensure a positive experience for guests.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and standards.
