A well-established and growing manufacturer is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its dedicated Sales Team. With over three decades of industry experience and recent investment in cutting-edge technology, this is an exciting time to become part of a forward-thinking business.
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients across a range of sectors including food processing, retail, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. You\'ll act as the vital link between the customer and internal teams, ensuring that expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
 * Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention
 * Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and through proactive outreach
 * Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions in collaboration with technical and production teams
 * Deliver consistent, high-quality service and maintain strong communication throughout the customer journey
 * Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and account plans
 * Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
What We\'re Looking For
 * Minimum 3 years\' experience in B2B account management, providing a consultative sale
 * Proven success in managing diverse customer bases face to face
 * Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand technical challenges and propose effective solutions
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
 * A proactive, inquisitive mindset with a consultative approach to sales
 * Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
