We are currently working with a rapidly growing main contractor with a £30 million turnover, and we're looking for a sharp, site-based QS to join the team. They specialise in building high-quality care homes and student accommodation across the Midlands up to £10m in value.
As QS you will take the reins on individual packages from start to finish on site in Lichfield. You will support the PM and Director with the project, predominantly focusing on package management.
The client need someone who brings:
Proven Quantity Surveying experience, ideally within a main contractor setting.
Direct experience with care home or student accommodation projects would be a massive plus.
A strong grasp of construction contracts and commercial processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
A proactive, organised approach with impeccable attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
A relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., BSc Quantity Surveying, RICS).You'll be part of an ambitious and supportive company where your expertise is genuinely valued.
