About the Role:
As an ECT English teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a love for reading, writing, and language. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that support students' learning and progression.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote inclusive learning environments.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS status as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* Passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity, and respect within the school community.
