Responsibilities
The Children’s Hearings System provides an operational setting in which SCRA and partner agencies work. The aim is to provide a safety net for vulnerable children and deliver tailored solutions which meet the needs of the individuals involved, while helping to build stronger families and safer communities.
You will assist Reporters in the provision of a high-quality service to children and families by engaging effectively and with sensitivity to ensure that service users are fully informed and supported throughout the hearings system process.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be qualified to HNC or SVQ Level 3, or be willing to work toward the qualification and able to demonstrate the skills and competencies required to provide the best service to children and families. You will also demonstrate significant work experience with SCRA and/or knowledge of the operation of the children’s hearings system. In addition, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience working with a wide range of people, and demonstrate integrity and respect for others.
Digital Technology
Candidates will be expected to use digital technology to deliver virtual hearings using our secure virtual platform (training will be provided), as well as utilising digital technology within SCRA’s Hearings suites.
