Responsibilities
* Teaching & Learning Delivery – Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across a range of courses, tailored to meet individual student needs and awarding body standards.
* Student Support & Progress – Guide students toward success by monitoring progress, managing behaviour, and creating inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environments.
* Curriculum & Resource Development – Develop up-to-date schemes of work and innovative learning materials, sharing subject expertise with colleagues.
* Administration & Quality Assurance – Complete course-related admin tasks accurately and on time, contribute to team meetings, and support quality assurance processes.
* College Engagement & Compliance – Participate in promotional events, uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards, and engage in ongoing professional development.
About You
* Qualifications & Subject Expertise – Holds a degree in Computing or equivalent experience, with GCSEs in English and Maths, and a willingness to gain a teaching qualification.
* Teaching & Technical Skills – Capable of teaching topics such as Networking, Security, and general Computing subjects, with up-to-date knowledge in the field and recent UK teaching experience.
* Inclusive & Collaborative Approach – Experienced in working with diverse groups, promoting equality and diversity, and contributing positively to team goals and values.
* Professionalism & Communication – Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and professionalism, consistently supporting a high-quality and welcoming learning environment.
* Commitment & Safeguarding – Dedicated to continuous development, upholding safeguarding responsibilities, and maintaining appropriate boundaries and health and safety standards.
