Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing specialised mental health services, supporting individuals with diverse needs, including children and those with disabilities. Duties
* Conduct psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for children across various age groups.
* Deliver individualised therapy sessions, focusing on behavioural, emotional, and cognitive issues.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients' holistic wellbeing and educational needs.
* Engage in clinical research projects aimed at improving therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes.
* Provide specialised support for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
* Assist in the training and supervision of students or interns in clinical settings.
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
* Organise workshops or group therapy sessions to promote mental health awareness and resilience.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, registered with the appropriate professional body.
* Proven experience working with children, individuals with autism, or those with disabilities.
* Strong background in patient care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience conducting clinical research is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of special education needs and strategies for working within educational settings is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
